BIRMINGHAM PANDAVA SENA YOUTH GROUP

Our temple has one of the most vibrant and active youth groups around. Have a look to see what they get up to.

PAST

History

Born in 1997, Pandava Sena is considered to be the Youth Wing of ISKCON.

It all started with a few families. The youth would get together and do kirtan at differnent houses. They thought that it would be a great idea to start up a youth group called Pandava Sena (after London Pandava Sena).

They started many projects, had weekend retreats, set up Krishna Consciousness Societies at different universities, held weekly programs, organised festivals and in one word they had FUN.

PRESENT

What's going on

Now, a new era has begun. With the old school taking more responsibility of the Temple, a new dimension of youth have arrived.

They are leading the youth group into new pastures and thinking of new ideas. Come and see for yourself.

Jamming

Once a month the youth group meets up at the temple and has a Jamming - Kirtan, Aarti, Interactive and chilled out talk, then a yummy vegetarian feast followed by late night kirtan. They also hold special weekend retreats.

Throughout the year they will hold weekly events at Aston and Birmingham Univeristy to discuss and explore spirituality. They also provide spiritual retreats for those who want a break from the grinding urban lifestyle.
